A bit about me
I am a qualified Counsellor who studied at York College.
I practice as an Integrative Counsellor, grounded in Person Centred Theory. The Integrative bit means I have also studied other theories of counselling and can use parts of these to best suit the client's (your) needs.
Person Centred means that it is the person in front of me that I work with and whatever that person brings to the sessions. I provide an environment of Empathy, Honesty and Openness and true Acceptance to give the best possible conditions for clients (you) to work through whatever they need.
There are no other agenda's and no medical diagnosis.
The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) acts as a governing body to make sure high professional standards are met.
I am a registered member and strictly follow their Ethical Framework.
Feel free to follow the link to their website.

At present I can offer sessions to under 16's.
I have extensive experience working with individuals with special needs, their families and supporters.
